Christian vocation: being called to be love
More than three dozen young people from the parish of Our Lady of Navigators – Parque das Nações (Lisbon, Portugal) met on Sunday afternoon to deepen our Christian vocation. A parish event was the starting point, the perpetual vows of Sr. Rita Ornelas, where the Patriarch of Lisbon D. Rui Valério said in his homily that “the first vocation of Christians is to be called to be love” and this takes three steps: being with, being for and being in.
In this context there was space for a very interesting dialogue where we became aware that we are all seekers of Love that does not pass away, but makes us better people because more like Jesus.
