Rejoice! – the vocational event
On Saturday, October 19th, we were at Cidade da Alegria, the vocational event of Rejoice! – National Youth Meeting in its first edition. This meeting took place in Lisbon, at Parque das Nações, and around 2000 young people passed by.
Many young people visited us in the tent assigned to us, some with the desire to seek God’s will for their lives. With the motto “Gives little to God who doesn’t give Him everything”, they had three challenges to choose from: Play, Know, Talk. The game, with questions about the Congregation, gave them prizes that they received with great enthusiasm and joy, vouchers for guided visits to the LACC, snacks at São Mamede, candles, Liga-te+ books and prayer commitments from some sisters for them. Some of them preferred to meet or talk to any of the sisters present.
Let us pray for these and for all young people, so that they all know and can experience God’s love so that they can fulfill their vocation.
