Entrance to the novitiate
On 15 October, the feast of St Teresa of Avila and the beginning of community life for our first sisters, coincided with my entry into the novitiate after five days of retreat. The sisters from the Candeeiro community and those from the General House were present.
It was a very special day for me. It was a well-prepared celebration, where nothing was lacking. I was very happy that this day was the feast of St. Teresa, and I dared to ask her to be my friend on my journey. I also asked our Lord to be my goal and to give me the strength to walk and to envelop me in his love.
Without forgetting Our Lady, the woman who knew how to listen and share the grace she herself received from God, so that she may teach me to say “YES” every day and every moment.
