Many activities took place in the city. Even with animation in Largo de S. Mamede, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church and many pilgrims in the House of S. Mamede, it was still possible to visit the exhibition Fatima Experience of the Shrine of Fatima for WYD in Rossio.

The opening Mass officially kicked off WYD Lisbon 2023, where several sisters served as Minister of Holy Communion.
